All webmasters at the Intermax Webmaster event had a lot of fun.

Once again, on 4 and 5 September 2009, the company Intermax AG invited some webmasters to Pilsen (Czech Republic) to a War & Race webmaster meeting. This is a relaxed meeting for webmasters who advertise products of Intermax. A company presentation is not given at this meeting. Intermax bears the costs for the hotel and the company also makes sure, that the guests won’t go hungry.
On 4 September, at approx. 14 o’clock, the first webmasters arrived. Intermax provided a conference room that was used as a best room. The guests were welcomed in this room, people had the chance to talk to friendly webmasters and internet access was also available via notebooks. At about 19 o’clock, most of the webmasters had arrived, and it was now time to enter the dining hall of the Marriott Hotel, where excellent food was served. Of course everyone chatted on the side and plans on the further course of the evening were made.
Together with Gabriel Schmidt (Intermax), I decided to enter the night life of Pilsen. We actually met one or two colleagues in several clubs.
At about 4 o’clock in the morning I was back in the hotel – it was a short night for me, as the War & Race (paintball and kart racing) started on Sunday at 10 o’clock.

As it was bound to happen, I overslept and didn’t arrive at the event site before 12 o’clock. Some of my colleagues had already started to play paintball and I stayed on the kart track. That’s why there are no pictures of me playing paintball ;-)
On the kart track everyone accelerated busily and we could ride as often as we wanted, provided that karts were available. Everyone who wanted to take part in the real race entered his name in a list, as the winners could finally win a trophy.

During the day, plenty of food and beverages were served and there was enough time for extensive conversations.

At about 18 o’clock, the winner of the kart race was announced – Sascha (Ficken). The weekend was officially ended with this award ceremony. Some people striked out for home, but some, including me, stayed for another day to go for some more clubbing.

The event was a total success in every way and all participants had a great time. Many thanks go to Norbert Bayer and the team of Intermax for the invitation.

However, I am especially grateful to Kamil (Intermax); without him I would have been lost and helpless and I feel very bad for having cocked up his football evening. This is because I had the bad luck that someone broke into my car on the parking space during the kart race. Amongst other things, 2 GPS devices, several power cords and a video camera were stolen – total damage of about 1,200 to 1,500 Euros.
Kamil called the police, yielded from my side no longer and he also translated for me. The police arrived after 2 hours and thereafter we had to wait for the securing of evidence and then go to the police station for the report.
We got back to the hotel at about 23 o’clock.

Although I didn’t feel like it anymore, my dear colleagues convinced me to go clubbing with them again.
